A significant part of the market moves privately, between collections, estates and institutions. Where a collector is looking for something specific, we will look for it on their behalf and report honestly on what is available.

Selling and consignment

We take single objects, specialist collections and inherited collections on consignment. You keep title until the object sells. Research, cataloguing, photography, secure storage and insurance are ours to pay for, and the commission is the only deduction.

If an outright offer or a saleroom would serve you better, we will say so, and say why.
